I was reminded of this today. Bob Doyle talks about de-invention. Perhaps we need to de-invent ourselves and shed the layers that we’ve created that have prevented us from being ourselves, who we truly are in the world. The layers were put there to conform to fit in with society and with other people’s expectations of ourselves. What happened in your life to cause you to disconnect from loving yourself?
Who are you being in the world?
Who were you before all the life events occurred that caused you to disconnect from truly loving yourself?
Return to self – your true essence.
We spend years reinventing ourselves, moving away from who we truly are and eventually hit the breaking point and lose the spark of life – there is no joy.
When we are truly connected and heartfelt, it is transforming. Shift your ‘being’ in the world.
What will bring happiness?
What do you want to feel?
Who do you want to be?
How do we get to self-love?
We disconnect from loving ourselves in many ways and for many reasons.
Find the path to your heart. Don’t play it small.
