Crosby Wellness Center at the Center for Health & Wellbeing for a relaxing guided meditation and sound healing experience. \nThe use of sound therapy has existed across cultures and throughout history to promote health and wellbeing. Research shows that sound healing therapy can minimize and relieve pain\, stimulate the immune system\, reduce stress and improve mental and emotional clarity. \nParticipants will be guided through meditation in a seated or reclined position and experience a crystal bowl sound bath. As you relax\, crystal bowls resonate with the crystalline structure of your cells to balance your body’s electromagnetic field\, cleanse and strengthen the energy you radiate\, and promote a deeper sense of calm. \nThis program will be offered two times this winter: Thursday\, January 19 and Wednesday\, March 15. You are welcome to attend one or both sessions. \n Special Instructions: Attendees are encouraged to sit or recline on the floor for this program. Participants are encouraged to bring a yoga mat\, towel\, or small blanket; chairs will be available for those who prefer to use one. The room can also be cool during this program\, so cold-sensitive participants may also want to bring a light jacket or sweater. All attendees are also encouraged to bring their own bottles of water. \nThis program is presented by Kurt Kors and is hosted by the Winter Park Health Foundation in partnership with the Crosby Wellness Center. \n   About the Presenter: \nKurt Kors is a certified yoga instructor\, experienced meditation guide and sound healer.
