It’s also a great time to inspire YOU to make a difference. Many say they want to volunteer\, they’re just not sure how to get started or what opportunities are available to them. That’s where we come in!   \n  \nFor nearly 30 years\, the Winter Park Health Foundation has served the communities of Eatonville\, Maitland\, and Winter Park\, and in those years\, we’ve made some really great friends. Friends who need your help!   \n  \nWe’re excited to announce our first ever Volunteer Fair on Wednesday\, April 12\, from 4 to 7 p.m. We’re going to fill the Center for Health & Wellbeing’s Commons with organizations representing the best of Central Florida community service. You’ll be able to stop by these tables\, learn more about the organizations’ specific missions and discover ways your time and energy can change lives.   \n  \nThis Volunteer Fair is open to volunteers of all ages\, including high schoolers\, adults and older adults. Each one of us has the power to create change and it all starts with a simple question: how can I help? We can’t wait to show you how.   \n  \nStay tuned for more updates in the coming weeks on this exciting opportunity to connect directly with the changemakers in our communities.  \n  \nThis program is hosted by the Winter Park Health Foundation.     URL:https://yourhealthandwellbeing.org/event/inaugural-chwb-volunteer-fair/ LOCATION:Center for Health & Wellbeing\, 2005 Mizell Avenue\, Winter Park\, FL 32792\, Winter Park\, FL\, 32792\, US CATEGORIES:Wholeness ATTACH;FMTTYPE=image/jpeg:https://yourhealthandwellbeing.org/wp-content/uploads/2023/03/04.12.2023-Volunteer-Fair-scaled.jpg ORGANIZER;CN="Center for Health &%3B Wellbeing":MAILTO:contact@yourhealthandwellbeing.org END:VEVENT BEGIN:VEVENT DTSTART;TZID=America/New_York:20230412T180000 DTEND;TZID=America/New_York:20230412T193000 DTSTAMP:20250715T094332 CREATED:20230302T194155Z LAST-MODIFIED:20230302T194810Z UID:26896-1681322400-1681327800@yourhealthandwellbeing.org SUMMARY:In the Kitchen with Edible Orlando: No Waste Cooking DESCRIPTION:Learn to reduce waste in cooking two ways – by using every part of the ingredients and by incorporating creative ways to utilize leftovers.\n\n\nIn honor of this month’s Earth Day\, we encourage you and your family to find simple ways to reduce your carbon footprint.
