But while you may know that boundaries are important\, it can often be confusing and intimidating to understand where\, when\, how\, and with whom to build and maintain boundaries. How you perceive\, value\, and respect yourself all influence the effectiveness of your boundaries. When you move toward accepting this ongoing reality\, you adopt a cyclical method of boundary design that helps you to love yourself throughout the journey.” \nWith “Designing Healthy Boundaries” in hand\, you’ll learn that boundaries don’t always need to function as a defense system; they can be a catalyst for understanding\, respect\, and connection. \nFor $25\, your general admission ticket includes a signed copy of “Designing Healthy Boundaries.” \nWe invite you to join us for an in-depth conversation and Q&A with Dr. Ali on how you\, too\, can start designing healthy boundaries in your life. They can be very therapeutic because you are literally bathed in sound waves\, where you will enter a state of deep relaxation. Sound baths help facilitate shifts in our brainwaves by using entrainment. Entrainment synchronizes our brainwaves by providing a stable frequency which the brainwaves can attune to. By listening to the rhythm and frequencies of the crystal bowls\, we can downshift our normal beta state (normal waking consciousness) to alpha (relaxed consciousness) and even reach theta (meditative state) where profound learning\, healing and growth can occur. \nThis sound healing experience is designed to clear and release negative energy\, open your heart\, and promote a quieter state of mind. The harmonious sounds are created to support your body’s natural healing processes while you recline on blankets and pillows. After the session\, you’ll leave feeling mentally and physically rested\, ready to enjoy the peace and tranquility of a healthy mind\, body and spirit. \nSpecial Instructions: Attendees can sit in a chair or on the floor for this program. The business cases and medical cost offset these programs demonstrated led to the whole industry following suit. \nShe then worked for emerging technology companies\, including one of the nation’s leading providers of telehealth\, Amwell\, to bring virtual care to mental health\, making it less expensive and more convenient. \nAfter decades of working with emerging health technology companies and getting health insurance companies to pay for additional ways for patients to access mental health support\, Rachel recognized that by promoting the benefit of these services for ongoing wellness: we enable ourselves not just to stay healthier and heal faster\, but also to flourish and support our happiness. In 2018 she began offering The Museum of Happiness to community and corporate groups throughout the U.S. \nRachel is the author of 3 books on this topic and lives with her spouse and 2 children in Winter Park.
