The business cases and medical cost offset these programs demonstrated led to the whole industry following suit. \nShe then worked for emerging technology companies\, including one of the nation’s leading providers of telehealth\, Amwell\, to bring virtual care to mental health\, making it less expensive and more convenient. \nAfter decades of working with emerging health technology companies and getting health insurance companies to pay for additional ways for patients to access mental health support\, Rachel recognized that by promoting the benefit of these services for ongoing wellness: we enable ourselves not just to stay healthier and heal faster\, but also to flourish and support our happiness. In 2018 she began offering The Museum of Happiness to community and corporate groups throughout the U.S. \nRachel is the author of 3 books on this topic and lives with her spouse and 2 children in Winter Park. She is a terrible dancer\, but that doesn’t stop her from embarrassing her kids with it any time she gets the chance. They can be very therapeutic because you are literally bathed in sound waves\, where you will enter a state of deep relaxation. Sound baths help facilitate shifts in our brainwaves by using entrainment. Entrainment synchronizes our brainwaves by providing a stable frequency which the brainwaves can attune to. By listening to the rhythm and frequencies of the crystal bowls\, we can downshift our normal beta state (normal waking consciousness) to alpha (relaxed consciousness) and even reach theta (meditative state) where profound learning\, healing and growth can occur. \nThis sound healing experience is designed to clear and release negative energy\, open your heart\, and promote a quieter state of mind. The harmonious sounds are created to support your body’s natural healing processes while you recline on blankets and pillows. After the session\, you’ll leave feeling mentally and physically rested\, ready to enjoy the peace and tranquility of a healthy mind\, body and spirit. \nSpecial Instructions: Attendees can sit in a chair or on the floor for this program. Participants are encouraged to bring a yoga mat\, towel\, or small blanket; chairs will be available for those who prefer to use one. The room can also be cool during this program\, so cold-sensitive participants may also want to bring a light jacket or sweater. All attendees are also encouraged to bring their own bottles of water. \nThis program is presented by Camille Sacco and hosted by the Winter Park Health Foundation. \nAbout the Program Presenter \nCamille Sacco is an American Institute of Health Care Professionals Mindfulness Coach and meditation instructor.
